Jacobs, a visionary, U.S. Army veteran, and family man who believed in building something lasting through hard work and unwavering values. What began as a small subcontracting business installing cable and telephone systems for major telecom providers across Ohio soon grew into a company known for integrity, reliability, and quality.
As the industry evolved, so did we. Joanne E. Jacobs — Chief Executive Officer (CEO) As CEO and first-generation leader of JTC, Joanne has been instrumental in guiding the company’s long-term vision and continued growth. With decades of leadership and deep industry knowledge, she has built a legacy of trust, professionalism, and commitment to both clients and employees. Joanne continues to oversee corporate strategy while ensuring the family values that started the company remain at the core of every project.
Mike Jacobs — President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mike leads day-to-day operations across all JTC service areas. With a strong background in field operations and project delivery, he brings hands-on expertise and a customer-first approach to every job. Mike ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and top-tier service across the board, while driving innovation in JTC’s service offerings.
Steve Jacobs — Vice President Steve supports strategic planning, and supports internal operations. With 18 years of industry experience and a passion for the technical side of the business, he plays a key role in maintaining JTC’s quality standards and customer expectations.
Ed Dobbins — Vice President, Business Development Ed brings over 30 years of experience in structured cabling and low-voltage systems to his role. As VP of Business Development, he leads client engagement, project estimation, and long-term growth initiatives. Ed’s deep industry connections and consultative approach help JTC align with customer needs and build lasting partnerships.
Aaron Brown, RCDD — General Manager – Cincinnati Operations Aaron oversees all operations in the Cincinnati region, from project planning to field execution. As a BICSI-certified RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer), he brings technical precision and strong leadership to every job. His commitment to excellence and local knowledge ensures JTC remains a trusted partner in Greater Cincinnati.
Matt Bogumill, RCDD — General Manager – Columbus Operations Matt leads the Columbus team with a focus on quality control, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction. An RCDD with extensive experience in commercial and government projects, he ensures that JTC’s Columbus operations stay efficient, compliant, and forward-thinking in every aspect.
